The Experience

One of the world's most
sought-after festivals.
Done differently.

The Yi Peng Lantern Festival is an extraordinary event — but most people experience it through crowds, noise, and logistics. Étoile’s approach is different. We build the journey around the festival, not the other way around.

Beginning in Bangkok and travelling overnight by luxury train to Chiang Mai, this eight-day journey is designed to arrive calm, present, and prepared — so that when the lanterns rise, you are genuinely there for it. The pacing matters as much as the destination.

Limited to eight guests, this is a shared experience in the truest sense: small enough for intimacy, curated enough for comfort, and meaningful enough to carry with you long after.
